I would just like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all of the team at All About Asia, and to the doctor and all of his team for the fantastic job.

From the first phone call to All About Asia/Meditour, I felt good about how I was spoken to, given all information no matter how many emails I sent.

You always emailed me back very quickly, and you answered any questions i had, YES i did send about 100 emails, as I wanted to feel, that since I was travelling on my own  I could feel safe, and know every thing was in place and everything would be fine.

It was Fantastic to have had all of the arrangements made for me from flights, accommodation,meet and greet, transport and even meeting with the team in Manila the night I got to hotel, they made sure I had a booklet for everything I needed, but what I found fantastic was they gave me a mobile phone, charged, with contact numbers, and credit so if i needed anyone at anytime they were there.

With all of that done for me, it made it easy for me enjoy all of the 2 weeks I had in Manila, with no worries. (THANKS HEAPS GUYS FANTASTIC JOB).

I had Dental work done due to ,medication I was given as a sick baby which discoloured and twisted my teeth.

So 40 yrs on, it was my time to do something that I have wanted to do all of those years ago but never could afford it in Australia.

My Dentist  answered all of my questions, he was warm, gentle and I felt I was in fantastic hands.

It has been a few months on, my teeth look fantastic still, no problems and everyone has said how natural they look I have the best teeth/smile in the world.!!!.   lol.

I know I have gone on a bit, but I can’t thank you all enough for the whole experience from start to finish,

I highly recommend it to any one who want to have dental treatment or cosmetic treatment as well as a holiday in Manila at a fraction of the price than back in Australia.

Firstly, I must complement you on how things went very smoothly. Airport transfers were spot-on and the hotel was very comfortable. I thought I would only be able to have a consultation and a couple of teeth extracted in the short time I had..Now comes the incredible bit.

On the Friday he removed the teeth, took impressions, did scaling and whatever on the remaining teeth, and advised that his driver would pick me up at 1pm on the Saturday for initial fitting of the plates. I was dumbfounded. To get plates made over here would take at least a week or more. So he fitted the plates on the Saturday afternoon, and had me back at 11am on Monday to make adjustments and the final fitting. So I was on the plane Monday afternoon to come home with a mouth full of operational teeth. I'm still gob-smacked.

Absolutely incredible. He did in 3 days what would take weeks over here and cost a hell of a lot more.

I'd like to mention that the doctor was very easy to get along with and explains every procedure fully and at no time did I feel worried.
Thanks heaps for organising this. I'm sure that when I need further work done or I decide to go ahead with implants in the bottom jaw I'll know where I am headed.

Hi Robert, Julie, Glenn, November 2011. I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of you for organising my dental holiday. Everything went really smooth from being picked up at the airport and being picked up for all of my appointments with the dentist. I was very happy with the service I received. It was much better than I expected. I will be spreading the word on All About Asia and  Meditour. All I have to do is show my friends and family the results and that should be enough convincing, even if they just want to take a holiday to the Philippines. I know I will be going back there again to play tourist and I will be using All About Asia for my holiday options.

Thanks Glenn, everything went very well. As I mentioned to Robert, I've been threatening to organise a dental trip for a couple of years. When I finally got serious I started googling and found Meditour quite quickly. I had no idea until then that a company could organise it for me. I was much more comfortable with the idea using a dentist that you were able to recommend through personal experience.It was great having a driver transport me to appointments, and the Doctor and his staff did all they could to make it as stress free as possible (not entirely successful there, but short of knocking me out completely there was nothing else they could have done).What else can I say? The hotel and staff were great and Julie kept in touch with me even though I had friends in Manila and didn't need much help.I really can't think of anything else that could have been done to make the trip any easier and I am very happy with the result. I would like to thank the Doctor in Manila for all the work he did on my teeth. Some people might think, teeth are only teeth, but for me... my teeth were my entire self confidence & a huge part of my life.
There is no exaggeration when i say the Doctor changed my life! I have never been so happy and now i can finally smile when i tell people my story. The Doctor was BRILLIANT! He was so gentle, and most of all his work turned out Fantastic!! I would also like to thank Glenn & Robert for all their help in making this happen. In April I lost another tooth leaving me with only a few in the front, and bottom to eat with. So on the phone I got, and rang heaps of dentists ,  I got the same answer from them all, one implant would cost me thousands. Tom then gets on the computer, and hours later he tells me he has found Meditour, who say they will lut usw in touch with a dentist in Manila, my reaction was, no way will I go there, forget about it. He spent days re-searching Meditour, the dentist, ringing people who had been there, and no fault could be found, but I was still a nervous wreck, after 3 days I said I would go. We rang Robert, give him a date we were able to go, and he did every thing else for us. I would ring Robert and ask him, Will I feel any pain, an I have anaesthetic, I knew he was laughing at me. When we  arrived at Manila airport and I saw a man holding up our name, I was so happy. We had a welcome call from Vinchu, and she met us at the hotel the next morning with lots of useful information, and a mobile phone.  The dentist, and his driver Sammy picked me up, and off to the surgery we went, when I saw the dentist chair  my  stomach was in knots, and I wanted to run for miles, but I am so glad I didn't. What a lovely, caring dentist he  is, also his  son, and the nurses. I had 5 visits, and my last visit I said, can I sit for an extra 5 mins in this chair as I really like it. I have to return in 3 months time, and I am looking forward to seeing them all again. I never needed any of the pain killing tablets I had with me.  The Hotel was lovely, I enjoyed the big breakfasts, the staff were very friendly, the porters were there at all times to open doors and lifts for you. Tom found the pub,( Howsthat ) the beer was cheap, and very cold, he was happy. Vinchu and Julie called to see if all was O.K. we knew if we needed help , they were only a phone call away.  So anyone who is a nervous wreck about dentists like me, please do not worry, they are a wonderful mob of caring people there.

Hi Robert - I want to thank you so much for the way you organised our trip to the Philipines. From the time we arrived and were met by the driver who took us to the hotel and to the reception there, everyone was polite and helpful and most importantly - on time. The hotel was really nice and the included breakfasts were fantastic. The driver for the dentist was always on time and doubled as a bit of a tour guide as well as introducing us to Philipina food.The Dental work my son and I had done is great and done so quickly - it would have taken months OZ and so cheap by comparison. As you saw on my son's dental quote from here (22000) he had more work done than on the quote for $5000 and the quality of the work is excellent. I have already given your contact details to a number of friends who have checked us out and want to go and have their teeth fixed.

Hi Robert,

 I am back from my dental visit. Just a short note to say that the Doctor is the consummate professional with an artistic flair. He decided that for this visit I only needed to have crowns on  one side of my mouth as he wanted to correct my bite (as I was also having a single tooth bridge). The rest he tided and replace fillings as he wanted to maintain my “Natural Look” quote unquote. All the work was done in 3 days with a final  check-up on the fifth day for a little bit of tweaking. The hotel was lovely and clean, with great security (very suitable for the single female traveller). The room service meals were limited and so so (either not on the menu, cold or not as described).  However  the breakfasts were good provided you were there by 8-15 otherwise they did not replace what had been used (i.e. coffee, hot water for tea and fruits). The hotel was very convenient and had a nice atmosphere.

After eight six years with my dentist in Australia, thousands of dollars on dental work and a quote for thousands more, I accepted the advice of a friend and booked a dental holiday with All About Asia. Despite thorough research, a very good quote for dental work and the promise of a wonderful holiday in the Philippines – I was still nervous. The minute we landed, met with the friendly All About Asia staff, and the dentist – my fears subsided. Despite four trips to the dentist  within a week  – I  enjoyed every minute of it, just as my friend promised. And best of all, I was thrilled with my teeth and the bill was less than I expected which meant more money for shopping! Shoes anyone?

             I was a bit hesitant when i was asked by my friend, and her husband, to go to the Philippines for Dental Treatment. I had heard about people going to asia for all sorts of treatments,and that it was much cheaper than having it done in Australia. Anyway i said yes to the idea and within 2 weeks i had a ticket, accommodation,and transport arranged by All About Asia. a tour company specialising in medical tourism.

I am impressed with Robert, the tour operator, he is very efficient, and has the right contacts overseas.After arriving in the philippines the next day we were picked up the Doctor and his driver and taken to his surgery,where he introduced himself and made us feel so at home. He checked our mouths ,gave us appointments and his driver took us home to the hotel we were staying in. I have full praise of the Dr. and he has done a very good job of my teeth. I have just arrive home from my second trip. I was very happy  with the work the Dr did for me in Oct 2010.
My husband needed work on a tooth over Christmas, the cost blew me away.  We also took a friend ours, George. My husband had been traumatized by a dentist. in Australia,  in the past and was a bit scared of what he might have to have done. He said that he has never been made feel so at ease as the doctorl did.  He not only had the tooth fixed, but had extensive work done, he is very happy with his teeth today.   The cost was not much more than the quote to fix the one tooth here in Cairns. George was also very happy with the work he had done, but more so with the price. The hotles rooms are very clean and serviced well, staff very friendly. One day this time we had gone out for the day. I had forgotten to put my rings on, worried all day, they were still in the same place when we returned,  when I go back I will be staying there again.

All went very well,the transport/transfers hotel food people  all superb. and friendly,the All About Asia links where great and very helpful. Joel was great and got on well with Lynne as his wife is a teacher too.The dental  work was superb in  all respects for 11 porcelain crowns 3 metal bridges a root canal 6 small fillings and whitening of all the front teeth. Joel was so obliging and organised the work all in the same week so we could fly up to HonKong for 2 nights.

Initially I was very sceptical about travelling abroad for dental work.  After months of research, I was happy to stop my searching after talking to you.  You put my mind at rest and assisted me through the entire process.  When I finally met with the Doctor in Manila, I was equally impressed.  He is world class, very accommodating and his team simply the most professional I had encountered. I booked a cosmetic surgery procedure, along with a holiday to recover through Meditour in Manila, in May 2010.

I was quite apprehensive about having this procedure in a country I had not visited before, with no knowledge of the language, customs, or even the location of the hotel and the clinic I was attending.   Fortunately, right from the moment we left the international airport, we were taken care of by Ms Vinchu Lapid and the team at Meditour.

A chauffeured car drove us to our hotel, where Ms Lapid was waiting for us at reception.  She went through the itinerary for the following day, and provided me and my husband with mobile phones to enable us to keep in contact with her, the clinic and of course, each other. 

The following day, Ms Lapid picked me up from our hotel, and escorted me to the clinic where she introduced me to the doctors and nursing staff.  After my consultation, she drove me to the various laboratories I was required to attend for testing, and returned me to my hotel. 

On the day of my surgery, Ms Lapid drove me to the clinic, and although my surgery took longer than we expected and was not completed until almost 11 o’clock at night, she was waiting outside with my husband, to drive us back to our hotel.

I had a number of follow-up appointments – all of which Ms Lapid accompanied me to.  She was kind and considerate as well as very empathetic when I explained any apprehensions to her.  She even called me and sent emails after I had left Manila, to make sure I was well.

The service provided by Meditour was totally professional.  Ms Lapid was extremely punctual and knowledgeable.  The service offered made this experience so much easier and more pleasant than it could have been.   I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone contemplating a holiday that encompassed a medical procedure.

I did love Manila and all the things about pollution and the environment were not true it is a very clean and well kept country.The streets r spotless, and yes we went to the worst part Diposoria and yes we saw poverty but just the same as any other

As the result is unbelievable’ the Dr is a wonderful dentist and very gentle no pain what so ever he even says please and thank you. Lisa his assistant Is just excellent and looks after you very well and makes sure that the water does not spray over around or down anywhere.

I have recently returned from my 3^rd overseas dental holiday in the Philippines.I have now had all my teeth crowned and I am more than happy with final result.

My total cost for dental treatment and 3 holidays (air fare, accommodation and spending money ) was about a third of the cost as it would have been in Australia so I have saved that much money as well as

having 3 memorable holidays which include golfing. staying at the beach(in between dental treatment) and fun night life .

The dentist was professional at all times and had a genuine caring manner. It was obvious from day 1 that she cared more about my well
being and my teeth, rather than how much money she could make (complete contrast to experiences I have had with Australian Dentists)

I’m only sorry I did not know about this many years ago before I paid a fortune to Australian dentists for sub standard treatment..

All my holidays and dental treatment were organised by Meditour. I have no hesitation recommending this to anyone who requires major
dental work done .

Thanks for helping me with my recent dental problem  I broke a rear molar the day before I left for Cebu and was quite concerned, not to mention uncomfortable, because this was a tooth that had been diagnosed as beyond repair 6 yrs, ago by my American dentist.  The doctor not only saw me on short notice, but provided the most competent and gentle care I have ever undergone.  I was sure the tooth had to come out, but the doctor not only provided me with a temporary filling and asked me to return upon my next visit in 5 or 6 weeks to befitted for a partial crown.  All this in addition to an x ray for the sum of only 750p, which amounts to about 15.00$ U.S.d, and the most hygienic office I have ever seen.  This procedure would easily have cost a minimum of $125.00 or more in the U.S.  I would recommend Meditour to anyone with a dental problem while abroad, or as your family dentist in Cebu.

"I would like to share my positive experience on a recent trip to the Philippines for major dental work. I had an 18 night holiday in Angeles city (about 1 hour from manila) and I had a very successful experience with the doctor.
All up I had 18 crowns done  including a 5 piece bridge at a total cost of $6,7000 Australian. I price I had been quoted in Australia was nearly 60% more that here.The dentist had her clinic in a hospital and had excellent hygiene standards, modern equipment (including panoramic x-ray machine) and was herself American trained. Her manner was more professional and caring than any dentist i have met in Australia. The whole time she explained exactly what she was doing and why she was doing it.
Final result is I now have even, white teeth and can actually smile again after many years of being too scared to smile)
In between dental treatment I had a great holiday , including golf, swimming and fun night life. The whole trip was organised by a Brisbane travel agent, Jetset Kenmore who assured me that all dentists they use in the Philippines are of similar high standard.
So as far as I'm concerned there was not any risk in my taking this opportunity to fix my teeth in the Philippines ad there is no way i could have afforded to have it done here.
I would recommend it to any person that requires major dental work , as long as they book through a professional travel agent and not try and find their own dentists .
There are risks in travelling anywhere overseas but I never felt any risk with the dental treatment."

"From first contact with your office after an internet search through to completion of the work it all ran smoothly I gave the trip to my wife, Jan as a surprise Xmas present and she didn't know if to laugh or cry. But the staff at the clinic were professional and talented but more importantly genuinely nice people and from the time we walked in it was a great atmosphere that was maintained throughout. We upgraded to a deluxe room (recommended) for $10 a night extra and it was comfortable though the AC may struggle in the really humid months (we went in March 06 and it was okay ). Staying close to the surgery is a must if you have lots of work to get done as it can be pretty intensive but there are other very nice (and costly hotels in the area). Jan basically had every tooth treated (including extractions and root canals) only one was not crowned at a total cost we worked out to be about 1/3 the cost in Australia.

You are close to everything from local department stores, Starbucks to Ralph Lauren etc. All staff and people in general are extra friendly and we never felt uncomfortable at any time, make sure you go to Greenfields Shopping centre it has a massive indoor market but bargain hard.

Would we go again a big yes, It has changed Jans life.!!!!."
